Ayan Muse Osman is a Lecturer in Environmental and Civil Engineering with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Kampala International University, Uganda, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Abrar University, Somalia. Her academic focus centers on environmental sustainability with a particular interest in waste management.
She has experience teaching a range of engineering courses including water supply, wastewater engineering, engineering hydrology, environmental systems, and surveying. In addition to her teaching, she has contributed to scientific research, including a co-authored study published in Case Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering on hospital solid waste management in Uganda.
Ayan is a professional member of the Institution of Engineers Somalia (IES) and is committed to advancing environmental engineering practices through education and applied research.
