Muna is a lecturer and Civil Engineering laboratory technician in the Department of Civil Engineering at SIMAD University and currently pursuing her master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. Her research interests focus on water and wastewater treatment, microplastic pollution in aquatic environments, Solid Waste Management, Renewable Energy & Sustainability, Air Pollution & Climate Change Mitigation. Alongside her academic work, Muna has experience as a Civil Engineering laboratory technician and lecturer, contributing to both teaching and applied research. Additionally, she is the founder and chairperson of Women for STEM Organization, an initiative dedicated to empowering and inspiring young women to pursue careers in STEM.
